I know by the time you read this, my birthday was long gone but I'm still gonna post about it anyway because as you can obviously notice I hadn't been updating a lot, I have very limited time to create new post so when I do have a small window of free time I'd like to update this blog to breathe life into it every now and then. Each new post since the day I ended my A-levels is like a defibrillator pumping on the chest of this already dead blog pronounced based on the miserably low view count on my weekly subscribed counter. You had to be very loyal and patient to be still reading till here. I love you. I really do. Let me sort things out, get my shit back, away from working life and I'll be back with better content rather than tons and tons of pics but not much elaboration? Apologize I shall. Sorry and thank you! =)

I would describe my celebration this year as quiet. My phone isn't as busy as it was last year (I blame Facebook) but it was with my 3 best buddies from my national service days. I was expecting zero celebration but turns out, everything has a way around. Coincidentally, Nicholas of KK came down to KL for a visit and King decided to make a small reunion for us to catch up and stuff. I rushed back from work, took the car and head out to Pyramid. The next thing I know, they're singing me a b'day song and I'm blowing the candle off a lil cake.

this is Nicholas, the Sabahan born Chinese who'd live almost his entire life in KK if it hadn't been NS that brought us together as dormmates come friends. Currently studying at Singapore trying very hard to blend into the ~~kiasu/kiasi/kanasai~~ society.

Tan Wee King, also known as The King for having such prosperous figure and well spoken gathering skills whenever things gets bad in the camp he's the one that'll gather everyone.

Hua Jun the Jay Chou wannabe who flirts with almost every girl in the camp hoping to score their numbers but failed miserably due to my unnecessary presence.

It's a small gesture but it came from a BIG thought. Thanks a lot guys!

Well, I have to admit I was nervous as shit on the day of the reunion. I'm not sure why though. I don't think it's because I'm one of the organisers and I was worried it wouldn't turn out good in fact, I was very confident it will turn out alright. I guess I was just getting all jumpy to meet them familiar people I know from way back. All sorts of question was running through my mind like if anyone would remember any of my mischievous acts, will they recognize me, how will they receive the me now compare to the me then. Questions like this got me all nervous and when I got there, I was blushing and shy and maybe for the first time in my life.. I was speechless. Can you believe a chatterbox like me is SPEECHLESS! My mom would give up her birthday wish just to keep me quiet for 10mins in the car. So yea.. I stoned but slowly picked up my mojo and the next thing I know, I'm singing our primary school song and laughing our heads off! Well I guess this is why some people love reunions, you get comfortable almost instantly because somehow in the inside a small voice would say "Hey! I know you! WAZZZZUUUPPP!!"

That night was warm, fun and most importantly memorable. Many thanks to those who made the initiative to attend and also to Puteri for putting up with our junks by being one heck awesome host! We shall do this again in the near future ~~I hope I don't get sick of your faces!~~

No more beating around the bush, going round the roundabout, kicking the sand, digging of the sacred nose, we're taking the highway and I'm going to T.B.H. with you.. I.. have been lazy. Alrite! I've said it! Well, you can't actually blame me for all this delay and late post you know. I've tried really hard to put up a post, I really do but the mind just switches off whenever I click on the "sign in" link. Life's been tough on me. =(

The crowd was already crowded? when we get there. The 4 MTV VJ across Asia was on stage and I only recognise the tallest one, which is VJ Utt. We had to stand from quite a distance at first but we manage to wiggle our way to a 'decent' view.

OMG! The Wonder Girls!! The girls came on stage in cages and it was every man's wet dreams to see 5 hot bods crashing out of the cages to give one heck of a seductive dance. They performed a new Korean song follow by So Hot, Tell Me, 2DT and of course Nobody, Nobody but Choo~. Apparently, we missed Bunkface performance which was the opening. I blame the long-Q.

After a looooooooooooooooong delay and drizzling rain to follow, German sensation Tokio Hotel finally came on stage! Although their home country was knocked out of the WC Final by the Spaniards these guys doesn't seem bothered and put up one heck of a performance. On that night, I took back everything ~~gay~~ bad I said about them. They are really good in live performances. thumbs up.

Tekken is in the Cinemas!!

Yes, you heard me! I think everyone that has experienced Tekken either in the PlayStation or at the arcade would've expected a movie to come from this awesome video game due to it's cinematic ending at the end for every character. Don't understand? Well the tradition is, every character that manages to storm pass the final stage (after beating the s**t out of the boss) will earn a cinematic ending with individual storyline something like a gold pot at the end of the rainbow for our hard work and it has been like that since Tekken 3 which was one of my first ever video games when the PlayStation ONE was still a hot issue. The tradition lives on till today with Tekken 6 in the PS3 which I do not own one, YET.

Anyway skip the geeky game history talk, most of us expected a movie but not a live action (played by real people). I was expecting more of a 3D-animation thingy like 'Final Fantasy: Advent Children' or 'Avatar'. To be honest, I don't know how I should feel about this because actors playing your favorite hero can be disappointing at times especially when they don't look tad bit similar at all. The only way I can find out is to watch it with my very own eyes and there's no better way than to do it at a premiere screening. To do so, I'm going to have to dig deep into my sacred heart to tell you about a favorite character of mine from Tekken.

He's cool, he's Korean and his name is Hwoa.. Rang!

and my reason is simple: He seriously kick-ass with his legs!

He has super fast kicking moves and the best part is his lethal combos. I once drained half the life of my opponent by carefully scoring the best combo possible, all with just his legs and that made me felt ~~orgasmic~~ GREAT!

Ever since then I'll usually use Hwoarang and whenever my brother wants to pick a fight with me, Hwoarang would definitely get the job done for me.. ;)

Another one has fallen into the ranks of 20's. This time it's Mr. Benjamin Leong. Barbecue lamb shoulders while sipping on Ribena punch definitely would've kill if it's other days but since it's Ben's day we gave up on the nutrition facts and ate like there's no tomorrow or was it just me.

In the midst of the celebration I successfully embarrassed myself as well. Dropped my car keys when I reach Ben's place only to realize the key was missing when I'm leaving. It's embarrassing because everyone knows about it from the start. Those bastards were contemplating behind my back whether to drive my car around or not. Luckily they were still humane enough to just hung the key somewhere and make me look for it! Those guys had the time of their life by seeing me go panic and searching like a fool.

*Next up would be abang Jon's turn to become 20 and I would be expecting a feast (I'm talking to you Jon).

I've Got Soul But I'm Not a Soldier

It's been a long hectic week for me. What's happenin people, did you miss my self centered updates? I've been working like an ox on a rice field, crazy labor work is what I'll call it. Definitely not easy to find the time to bring out the blogging mojo in me. Just when I thought after the exams I'll be as free as a bird, well I thought wrong. Very wrong. Had to become the obedient son and follow my dad around to work. Yes, we do share the same work uniform but not the same workload. Apparently, the son would have to suffer a lil more which is the whole point of bringing a son to work aside from gathering life experiences.

Actually, I really don't mind following my old man around. It's quite fun to go places (mostly sites), learning new skills and such but the one thing I really can't stand is the constant banging from him. It's one thing to get scolded at home and entirely another when at work. At work, he's the boss I'm the intern so whatever he says I better believe it's damn true and just shut the hell up. No point debating when you know at the end he's gonna stab one at you with his years of experience in the field.

Here's a fun fact for you guys: I refrain calling him "pa" when at work.. I refer him with titles such as "boss", "low sai" (not shitting in hokkien, it's boss in canto), "see thau" (another term for employer in canto) to avoid unnecessary attention from the unknown public. Regardless of my effort, there are some people that know about our blood r'ship and the reaction on their face is epic at times. Some would widen their eyes and ask how old am I and some would just laugh it off because it seemed that it's merely impossible for my dad to have a son this big at his apparent age. Consider the reality of our modern world today, my parents is considered young when they wed. Today people get married like what, after 30? If you do the math, my dad is already a father at the age of 30 so yea.. that's why I'm 20 next month and he's just in his 40's.. (don't try to be funny people, I'm not born out of wedlock!)

Aside from my rant, now I got good news/bad news situation.. The good news is I've got a cool LCD monitor in my room! I'm using a 23" LED LCD monitor to type this out and it's uber cool, crystal clear!! "WOOO HOOO!!!" Bad news is.. it's not mine. "Aww.. snap!" I'm merely just "testing" it out. Soon this beautiful babe is gonna be hung up on a blank wall and showing 24/7 CCTV recording. What a waste huh? My dad was just helping out a customer to buy fyi. Oh well.. After a week or so, I'll have to revert back to my 17" box-type (the old fashion type) monitor. Wooo~ T.T I'm praying hard this monitor is not compatible with the CCTV recorder (which is merely impossible) so I get to keep it! Muahahaha..

With normal time still couldn't separate both side, extra time was called in and the tension was rising with every minute pass. The sight of the red card at the 2nd half of extra time which see Heitinga walking out of the field, leaving tired 10-man Dutch looking puzzled and frustrated got me begging for a penalty shootout to come where numbers does not benefit the opposition. Just when you thought a shootout is inevitable, disaster strikes in the form of Andreas Iniesta's thunderous volley pass Netherlands' goalkeeper at the last few minutes. It hurts, it really does. What a night.

Despite being runners up in a World Cup finals, losing is never easy to take. There's no doubt every Dutch player is going to reflect back on that night and sigh with disbelief but not regrets. As they know they've given their best. They know it, their fans know it and that's all that matters. To my favorite Oranje, although you have given me sleepless nights throughout the length of this tournament, I thank you for you have shared your happiness with me in your journey to the Finals.

I was blessed enough to get free tix to Usher live at Stadium Bukit Jalil last night. I didn't know Malaysia had this many Usher fans until the concert. On stage, Usher is the combination of an awesome performer, entertainer and magician because he can serenade, dance and make you move to his groove!

This concert brought back nostalgic feeling as he performed songs from his Confession days which to me, is the definition of Usher today. His retros' IMHO can easily top hits on today's R&B chart. One song that really got me back to his golden days was when he perform Burn which I sang along to every verse, chorus, basically the whole frigging song despite the fact that I've not listen to them for years. That night rekindled the Usher fan-ism in me.

Downside? Rock ZONE to far from Usher to rock with us. We're so far, sometimes I feel like we're just illegally standing around in the stadium, under privileged feeling kicks in uninvitingly. See fancam and you'll get what I mean. Typical Malaysian crowd was also a bummer. Everyone seem like they're too lazy to jump or wave or scream or do whatever Usher says. I also hate the fact that the concert was over in an hour and half time, soooo fast!! or was concert suppose to feel this way? I don't know YOU (concert junkie) tell me. According to Shahnaz (the more experience guy..) this concert is really on the short side.

Complains aside, at last I've lost my virginity for concerts and there's no better way to do it than to do it with my best friend, Shahnaz at the Rock Zone watching Usher at his best. Of course none of this could've happen without my man, Rae. He got his hands on the great ticks and he decided to give us which he could've sold for some sweet price. This proves how valuable we are to him? LOL.

I'm back people, after a month long hiatus it's good to be back! First thing's first, A-levels Ball! Work on the pictures had just started (pardon me) and judging from the amount of trigger happy pics, I've got long way to go before I can put it up for your viewing pleasure. So I guess this post is all about how glad I am to be back and welcoming my viewers with my current update.

~~I hope~~ I am finally done with pre-university, it's time for the real deal! Seeing one after another of my friends registering for uni especially local uni guys which was yesterday is making me uber excited and lonely at the same time. I owe it to a few of them for ignoring them throughout my exam period and now when I'm finally free, they're NOT! Sad..

So what have I been doing? Have I been partying all night long? Nope, tbh the night of the Ball was the only night I truly had an enjoyable time. I've been working with my dad. Yes, been force off to do labor work as soon as I enter supposedly "MERDEKA!!" mode. What's even more pathetic is the fact that I have to ditch the class trip to Redang which is happening NOW!! (wonder if they're having a blast ~~without me~~) because "work is more important and there's a deadline to meet", says the forceful father of mine. So if you see someone that looks like me carrying tools on my pocket and heaving a ladder around some construction site, don't forget to wave.. Chances are, that's pathetic me. =(

Friday was last day of normal lectures in HELP. It was a mix of feelings for everyone, happy, sad and nauseous at the same time as the exams are just around the friggin corner. GLEE Flash Mob in KL?

They've done it at Seattle, Dublin, Tel Aviv, Madrid & Rome and apparently there's going to be a GLEE flash mob right here, in sunny Malaysia! Can you imagine our very own GLEE flash mob dance performed by GLEEKs from all nooks and cranny of Malaysia? I'm so up for it but then again, practices (and most prob the flash day) are during my exams so it's very unlikely for me to participate but nevertheless I still took the liberty to sign up as a participant just to cure my curiosity as to where they're gonna practice and where they're gonna perform the flash mob. FYI, it's their "tradition" to keep their practice and even flash spot a secret. You'll only be notified thru email once you've actually sign up as a participant, kinda gives me the secret society feeling, uber cool I swear. And maybe I'll go snoop around the flash mob when it happens (boiling with envy and jealousy of course).

Going for the much anticipated Iron Man 2 movie this weekend with my family. I'm so excited, so excited! Called my dad in the evening to ask if he's interested in Iron Man 2, as soon as he gave the thumbs up, I drove out to Pyramid and got the tix! Firstly, I've been waiting for it since last year and second of all my dad's going to pay for the tickets!! Woo hoo! So fun so fun!

2 Years of Chemistry

I'll be bringing my digital camera to college for the next few days. I kinda notice that our days together are numbered. Another 8 weeks (including exam periods) and we'll be celebrating our 2nd Anniversary together, another year full of stress, misery and depression is coming to an end. Reality might not hit some of them yet but when they finally do it'll be too late to do anything memorable. That's why I'll be clicking away with my camera and one day you guys are gonna thank me for it.

Chemistry has always been my most preferred subject among the three I took. Notice how I use preferred and not favorite, they're different mind you. I cannot say it's my favorite because I really loathe balancing the equation and stuff but overall, I honestly "prefer" Chem over the other 2 subs.

We were suppose to have a massive celebration for Fifa (she turned 18!) but sadly she was already booked by her lit classmates. Based on the large number of her lit friends we kinda give her up to them (reluctantly) BUT we didn't give up on the celebration! Nope, we refuse to give up entirely. Fifa might not be there but the celebration must go on! The pathetic us decided to carry on with the planned outing to 1U regardless (it's kinda downsized tbh).

After all the riots and commotion the 7 of us (YEng, Denise, Josh, Mia, Jojo, Yee Hua and myself) finally touch down 1U with one heck of a hungry attitude. We bought Shutter Island tickets and off to Pasta Zanmai as suggested by Yew Eng. It's my first time there and it got me all curious as to what they would serve because as far as I know, pasta = ITALIAN! and Zanmai = Japanese so that means we'll be having.. Japanese Pasta or Italian Ramen?

Nevertheless, the food turned out awesome which is way above my expectation. A lil pricey but it's worth it or maybe I'm just saying it because it fed the hungry me. Anyway.. Shutter Island!!

I think I know why everyone is saying this movie rocks "it rocked so hard, your butt cheek could fall off" it's cause this movie constantly keeps us guessing and doubting stuff. Whenever something comes out, we would wonder if it's going to be useful later or if we've missed out on anything. It can be sleepy for the late night sleeping heads (haha.. Joshua) and the movie is filled with thriller/eerie bg sound which can be annoying at times but at the end, it's all worth it when the pieces of puzzles are put together. It makes you go.. "OWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!". But seriously, Leonardo DiCaprio's acting made the movie from great to awesome pawsome. I'm no spoiler so I'll stop here, watch the movie if you think I'm crapping on you.

You're RACIST and You Don't Even Know It

I cannot say that it's so true as I've yet to encounter non-Asian on a daily basis but I can seriously imagine how real, how typical it is for Asians to be treated like that outside of Asia. This is not entirely true but at least partially because everyone has become so accustomed to make fun of Asians. Which you can clearly see in movies, tv-shows and even stand up comedy (I think Russell Peter will agree with me on this). To the extend that I think some non-Asian people tend to picture Asians as a small eyed yellow dude with a "Ching-Chong" in their name and speaks loud native China accent. I'm assuming that those people assumed they know Asians very well and hence the wrong perception.

Asians literally means people from a particular region of Asia WHICH MEANS it includes Indians, Malays, Afro-Asians, Eurasians, Punjabi and even Arabs. So the next time the word Asian pops up, tell yourself it doesn't have to be Chinese. Don't get me wrong I actually love ~~Russell Peter~~ Asian jokes because it's something I can relate to and I can "LOL-ROFL-LMAO" (in that order) whilst agreeing but when people cannot divide between a joke and reality, it gets offensive and well it kinda hurt to know that they don't.

I can only pray and bid farewell to my fellow classmates whose got an offer to study abroad at non-Asian countries. Yes I'm referring to you Mr. Joshua Lah and Ng Yew Eng. My dad manage to take some time off from his busy schedule for Cheng Beng (Ching Ming) fest at Ipoh, his home sweet home. I always loved visiting Ipoh, it's a paradise for food lovers, faraway from congested KL. Compare to KL, Ipoh have a relatively low traffic jams but they are famous for their not left, not right but middle line driver. That's no typo, I really meant LINE not LANE. I'm actually referring to the old uncle/aunty driving classic toyota model car right in the middle of the road. To be honest, only at Ipoh where you can actually still see old classic model cars around, cars that don't even exist anymore back here in KL. Example:

One thing that I don't enjoy on Cheng Beng is the need to drag myself from bed friggin early in the wee morning to prepare stuff and to look alive (no pun intended). We reached the cemetery at about 7.30am and cars were already lined up all the way along the main road and I thought we were too early. It's only been a year since I last came to the cemetery (well, I don't have a reason to be there again isn't it?) and it looks as though it's been years since anyone actually cleaned it up. Piles of dried leaves, fallen branches, weeds and plants growing all over the place. I can't imagine how it would look like if no one comes by every year oh wait I can, the plot next to my ancestors' seem "untouched" for quite some time.. "tsk tsk tsk.. budak budak zaman sekarang..." It's just not right.

Curious to know how can one lend a hand to save our dying planet. I wanna tell people about our current situation but I know I need to go through a channel, a medium in order to do so without people calling me a "freak of nature!". And so this club was the answer and eventually I ended up as the PR Director of the club and made many new friends with similar interest and strong willpower to save the environment. We had fun, we did our best and now it's time for the younger ones to succeed from us. All the best guys~

Tea Ceremony. This is where the married couple was suppose to serve tea to the elders in the family. There is a sense of proud and happiness overflowing whenever a tea cup reaches one's hand, maybe that's why the tradition lives on even after so many years.

I've never seen the kids so quiet for such a long duration before. Usually the hang time is around 5-7mins and then it's back to running and screaming and crying and complaining and laughing hysterically. That day was rather.. peaceful.. "ahh..."

Today while I was promoting the Earth Hour T-shirts at Block A area. A group of girl was passing by when one of them stopped and stare at the different designs on the t-shirt. Her friends took a few step closer only to move back when I go closer and

the following conversation happened...

Me: Interested in the T-shirts? It's only 20 bucks
Her: Owh.. What is the T-shirt for?
Me: It's for Earth Hour. We're trying to spread awareness about Earth Hour. Do you know what's Earth Hour?
Her: uhm.. er.. yea. Off the light wan rite?
Me: haha.. yea.. you know what time? It's 8.30 - 9.30
Her: Morning?
Me: (almost fall down on my knees) Uhm.. haha.. No.. PM. If it's AM even I wouldn't On my lights.
Her: (giggling among her friends)
Me: So are you interested in the T-shirt?
Her: No

and she left with the rest of her friends.

After that brief unproductive conversation, I just realize that there are many people that are still unaware of Earth Hour. They know it existed but doesn't know what it's existent is for. Don't be surprise to find out your neighbour living next door to you doesn't know what the heck is Earth Hour.

For this event to be a hit just like last year's and for the years to come (depending on situation), people have to educate others about Earth Hour. We shouldn't be selfish when it comes to the environment because believe it or not, we live and therefore share the same planet. It's so easy, all you have to do is switch off your lights from 8.30pm - 9.30pm (1 HOUR)! Such simple gesture would mean a lot to the environment as it is a vote for Mother Earth. All you have to do is move your lil fingers with very minimum energy and we're all safe from 2012 doomsday. Spread the word people.

Yesterday, not one but TWO awesome concert rocked Malaysia. Local sweetheart Zee Avi finally came back home and ~~Asia's~~ World's Biggest Boy Band, Super Junior visits Malaysia at the Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil and guess what, I wasn't at either concert! T.T

To those of you unfamiliar with Zee Avi, she's actually a Malaysian singer-songwriter recruited by a record company through Youtube. Think of her as the Asian version of Marié Digby.

Here’s how Wikipedia described Zee Avi:

"Zee Avi (born Izyan Alirahman, also known as KokoKaina; 1986) is a Sarawakian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and ukulele player. She was born in Miri, Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. Both of them are truly superb in their own ways. For acoustic, serenading voice Zee Avi does the job right whereas loud thumping pop music and synchronized choreography goes out to Korea's sensation, Super Junior. At first it didn't hit me but on the next day, with all the "hoo-haa" about the two concert got me all heartache with regret.

Joanne made first blood by texting me at 2.00am.

"The concert was daebak (great)!! u should hv came! really daebak!!"

I was wrong to think that that's the end of it. The next morning.. fancams, pictures, exaggerated comments, videos, they are everywhere! Facebook, blogs, news site, Youtube and even my own damn wall! (curse you Vivien Wong!)

It's finally here! All the way from South Korea!!

I know it's a bit late of me getting it now. I was being stubborn, insisting the album to come from Korea one way or another. Thankfully, Kim Minseo (my lovely classmate) was going back to Suwon and so she became the FedEX of my album. =)

I like the fact that they made the album look like a book. The front of the album feels like a hard cover novel but with pictures of the girls ~~as eye candy~~. There's a note individually from each of them imprinted in the pages and the best part is Tiffany's note is in English! Yes, I can read her heart warming appreciation speech. "haa..." *melts*

There's also a card with a random picture of the girls with siggy. I got YoonA's! Planning to trade it with Yee Hua for her Yuri card because she wanted YoonA. For me as long as it's SNSD, I don't mind who it is. Fanatic indeed.

Got my result today, *sigh* such a depressing day. I tried to hide my feelings but my expression gave it away.
Everywhere I go, people would ask me if I'm ok.

"Nope, I did badly and there's nothing anyone can do about it"

Funny how my answer acts like a disease. They would frown and sigh almost immediately. I know most people did badly but that's not the case huh? You're on your own when it comes to exam results and stuff. What to do, I tried my best and it turned out the way I didn't hope for.

My chemistry teacher saw my result slip. Her jaw dropped the moment she saw the grades and when she notice I looked even shittier than I was earlier, she tried to console me. I know she did. Telling me it's actually not that bad and I just need to give a little more effort on the upcoming exam. A little? More like A LOT more effort!

Please forgive me. I have no where else to rant out my feelings. Bye.

It was a night of excitement and curiosity altogether. I was invited by my high school bud, Darvin to attend his sister's engagement ceremony slash wedding dinner. It was my first time attending a Malayalam Indian wedding heck, it's my first time attending any Indian wedding. To those of you that don't know what's Malayalam they are one of the many different groups of Indian ethnic in Malaysia something like the Hokkiens or Hakka for the Chinese.

The food as expected, was awesome as hell! Served buffet style, there were Mutton Curry, Chicken Rendang, Fish Cutlets, Acar to go with a choice of Briyani rice or plain white rice. I ate like a pig but my only regret is I did not attempt a 2nd round as the hall was very pack! There were people standing and waiting for seats so, the considerate me gave away my spot. I don't know much about Indian weddings but for Chinese wedding dinner, usually we sit people down before starting the dinner so that night got me a little cultural shocked.

Fart Me Life

Indeed another best of the best FML situations of my life.

Last night, my neighbour was arguing from window to window at midnight and I cried "FML!". Who would've thought today I would shatter my mom's glass coffee table.

Actually what happen was, I was in the bathroom just about to bathe when a phone call came. Usually I would ignore the house phone but there's a small voice inside of me saying it could be important. The phone was already ringing for some time and so I ran out of the bathroom wrapped in towel to reach the phone. Just when I was about to reach the phone, I slipped and fell. The next thing I know, there was a loud noise and the glass table which was next to me, shattered into pieces. The best part is not when I missed the call, is when I was about to resume my bath, I notice a small piece of glass stabbed on my back. Literally, back stabbing. There was no blood at that time but as soon as I pull out the 1cm glass embedded on my back, blood just rush out like a waterfall.

Just to think about it, reminds me of my stupidity. After this tragic incident, I compile my very own 5 golden rules in life..

Rule no. 1: never run in/out of a bathroom
Rule no. 2: especially when you're only wrapped in a towel
Rule no. 3: never attempt to pick up calls while bathing
Rule no. 4: if insist on breaking rule no. 3 make sure it's a cordless phone
Rule no. 5: try not to get glass type of coffee table (they really can hurt)

*I never felt so humiliated, sad and funny at the same time..

Yee Sang at Uncle's place..

Yee Sang or famously known as "Loh Sang" among Chinese has got to be the best food ever invented because I friggin love it. I can eat Yee Sang all day without feeling jelak of it. My uncle is just as craze for it as I am, maybe it's because we're both born in the year of Horse (same favorites).

Just came back from reunion dinner at Uncle's place. There's no doubt I'm going to put on weight after this festive season. The amount of good no, GREAT food I had at Uncle's just now is too much for one person to take in a single meal.

Thanks to mommy, aunty and grandma for spending the whole afternoon in the kitchen preparing them. Although it took them almost the whole day to cook it, it was all done and over in just a few minutes. I starve myself in the afternoon just to make sure I have enough trunk space for the load coming in later in the evening.

Something's coming this festive Lunar New Year..

Now I can mix and match my red CNY clothes with the shoe. Will be using this shoe as temporary casual shoe until the current Adidas F5+ gives up or when it's seasoned and ready to serve me for many futsal matches to come.

*Just something to pamper myself for this coming Chinese New Year.

1st week of class has been real smooth and I mean, real smooth.
Not much of the brain juice was used except for the part where we have to decide whether to hop on board the Statistic 2 train or Mechanics 1 ride.
Eventually I've decided to take the M1 ride despite the fact that the teacher isn't everyone's favorite unlike the S2 teacher, Mr. Phillip.
To be honest, it's already been decided ever since I took up Physics as one of my subs.
So no biggie there.

What's more biggie.. is my friend Ryan who decided to leave Malaysia after more than 5 years staying here to go back to his motherland, South Korea to pursue Korean Universities' education.

He's the most karat ~~Malaysian~~ Korean I've ever met and befriended. He eats nasi lemak for breakfast, calls himself Hujan (instead of Rain) and speaks important local words like "tak lawak", "bodoh" and "makan". None of the Koreans I know can even come close to his level of proficiency (closest would be Min Seo). Most of all, he was the one who introduced me to my wives, Girls' Generation (SNSD) and eventually we even decided to share.

Although we only know each other for a year and half? It felt like we've been friends since he first came to Malaysia. Really gonna miss my dongseng (younger bro). I'm going to meet him tomorrow, probably for the last time.

Weekend + Federal Day = after exam break (sad..)

Classes are back on Tuesday. This would be my final sem and my last 5 months or so at HELP. Thank goodness! After almost 2 years of squatting there. If anyone wants to avoid eye contact with me, I'll be in class at these time:-

Monday : 8am - 2pm

Tuesday: 10am - 2pm

Wednesday: 10am-12pm

Thursday : 2pm - 3pm

Friday : 8am - 10am

Check out my Thursday's timetable, I'll be travelling all the from my place to college to sit for an hour worth class. Can you imagine if there's a "sudden" traffic jam or when the carpark is overcrowded? Guess I'll go early or not. I hate it when the time is too long or too short. Give me back my last timetable!

A Haunted Outing

What better way to release post exam stress than to scream my lungs out in the theatre. We've decided to watch a horror movie together just to see how each of us would react. Turns out they enjoyed watching me kicking and screaming instead of the white projector, @$$HOLE! Let me clear this up, it's not that I'm a coward for horror movies, I just can't control my emotions from the suspense building within me and therefore, I shrieked like a girl. (words..)

Eye Candy

My exams are over! Yea, whatever.. I just don't feel excited or just as happy bout it. Not only me, my other classmates are feeling it too. Probably the papers got us to hell and back so there's really not much of a reason to celebrate.

On the contrary though...

Girls' Generation finally released their new music video! Woo Hoo!! and they look gorgeously hot as usual with their cheerleader concept. Check it out guys ;)

Breaking Barriers

Although 2009 is history to us all but there's something that we can't seem to just let it slip. There are something that many of us find precious and will store them in our internal hard disk forever, to live old enough to tell our grandkids about them. It could be your first kiss, a song you've heard, a celebrity you've met, a book you've read or even a new hobby. There are something we actually bring along with us and eventually to our grave. Precious memories and thoughts especially. So what's your precious moment of 2009?

There's too many for me to name. If I had to name them all here, the next thing you know it's the month of May already. There's one thing though that I'm glad I did it in 2009 which was being influenced by my Korean classmates and friends with K-pop. That's right, Korean Music. I know there's some of you out there that are very pessimist about Korean Music (preferably known as K-pop) lovers. "These" pessimistic tend to think people like us aren't proud of our own race/nationality and thus search for a different culture to adapt and love but that's not true. I'm proud to be Malaysian born Chinese, my only sin is my greed for other culture. Go thru my music library and you'll know what I meant. English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian heck, even Tamil songs. Some called me a freak, some said I'm weird for I'm listening to songs sang in foreign languages, I can't fully understand but I'm not mad at them (maybe a lil) because I know that they don't see, hear or enjoy it like how I did. =)

So why K-pop in 2009? Because IMO 2009 was the best year for K-pop. I don't blurt out stuff without any proof.

First, there's my favourite Girls' Generation which cooked up a storm in South Korea with their megahit "Gee". "Gee" was the only song in the history of the K-pop chart to maintain the number 1 spot for NINE frigging consecutive weeks! That's the longest record any song/artist ever lasted on top. "Gee Gee Gee, Babe Baby!"

Then, there's the Wonder Girls who became the first Korean Girl Group to break into the US Billboard chart with their "Nobody" sydrome. Follow by the dream of every ~~Korean~~ girls, 2PM a boy band made up of initially 7 now, 6 bloody buffed up guys. Their hit "Again and Again" was so contagious, even fans in Malaysia did the flash mob dance of that song when their leader resigned.

Not to forget there's Brown Eyed Girls with their "Abracadabra" hip dance which is parodied by almost every Variety shows in and outside of S-Korea.

Finally, the word that seem to be the hardest made easy by Super Junior.. "Sorry, Sorry". Tell me you've never heard that addictive song, I dare you no, I TRIPLE DARE you, K-pop or not!

So there you have it, now you should know why I think 2009 is the best year for K-pop. I shit you not eh.

I find K-pop very fresh, charismatic and there's some sort of attraction to it, pulling me closer and closer each time I listen. I was kinda into J-pop since years ago (as I'm a lil bit of an otaku) but when I think of it, I'm actually a lil bit of everything, no?

*curiosity kills but whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? I'm curious and I'm still alive, only STRONGER!
